Denmark’s national ticketing agency, Rejsekort & Rejseplan, or RKRP, said it has reduced usage of its aging closed-loop card, Rejsekort, to 15% of most rides, as the agency remains on track to fully retire its 15-year-old closed-loop Rejsekort before the end of this month.

RKRP told Mobility Payments that riders used its pay-as-you-go app, along with its new closed-loop travel card, for just under 85% of trips altogether during the last two weeks of May, not counting commuter passes.
