More bus operators are introducing tap-on/tap-off service in the UK, which can save customers money and collect more data for the operators.
Go-Ahead said that four months after the launch, Brighton & Hove and Metrobus had recorded more than a million TOTO transactions combined, a rate of 70,000 per week and growing. And more than 34,000 passengers had used the technology along with daily fare capping to save money.
